Isn't it odd that we find it so hard to wait on the Lord, when waiting is exactly what we need? The best things things in life take preparation. Babies take nine months to develope. Wine only gets better with age. Flowers only come in bloom when the conditions are right. It takes sixteen plus years to be richly educated. The best things in life take time. Why would we want to cheat ourselves by hurrying things along? Why would we want to trade those intimate moments that we experience by trusting in His timing for minutes?
